An in-depth understanding of fired applications and combustion control processes were the foundations
for setting up Charter Tech.
More than sixteen years later, our profile of customers
and
the
number of end users employing our systems has grown considerably and
recognition of our core competence within these niche applications is
acknowledged by the leading engineering contractors, heater & burner OEMs
and end users alike.
Broad spectrum of applications
Our systems can be found managing
fired equipment across the process industries: including power stations in steel works, sugar
factories generating high-pressure steam, hydrocarbon vapour control at a tanker offloading
jetty and the stabilisation of North Sea crude oil at an onshore oil terminal.
Burner management system types
We supply scalable solutions
employing safety assessed logic solvers (e.g. TÜV Rhineland) which have a capability to support
loops with a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) up to SIL3 or conventional PLCs with an independent
safety device for safety critical loops.
