The 61508 Association
A group of companies with an interest in gaining the full benefits of the successful implementation of IEC61508 and its derivatives. A principal aim is to promote the value of the CASS route for accredited certification.

Members include end users, system integrators, manufacturers of sub-systems, components and certification bodies. Observers include the UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and The CASS Scheme Ltd as well as companies and individuals who are considering the advantages of membership.
The Institute of Measurement & Control (InstMC)
Through our participation and attendance at organised forums and seminars we interact with other accredited engineers to exchange experience and information about developments across the process sector. Such opportunities facilitate the exchange of different views and interpretations of applying IEC 61508 and/or IEC 61511.
